Summer Dresses | For Little Ladies

Despite the fact that I'm becoming a bit of a boy mom, now that I have 2 little guys around the house, I still go crazy over little girl's styles, dresses in particular.

I have so much fun dressing Ella up, and more often than not, I find myself wishing that her stuff came in my size, because the stuff that is in stores is just that cute.  Mini maxis and halter styles have me swooning, and naturally, anything with a pom pom trim is a must have.

There are so many adorable summer dresses out there right now, that can be found at great (and on sale) prices, that I decided to do a little round up of some of our favorites.

Swimwear for Moms

Gone are the days of teeny weenie bikinis...

Since I'm slowly learning to embrace my postpartum "mom bod" this summer, I went on the hunt for bathing suits that were suitable for a nursing mom of three, who just had a baby 10 weeks ago... "mom suits".

Thankfully, there are a ton of stylish options available at the moment that maintain some sense of modesty, while still allowing me to feel like I haven't completely lost my groove.

Beach trips are no longer for lounging and sunbathing.  These days, I need something that I can chase my kids around in, and build sandcastles while wearing.

I decided to compile a list of some of my favorites.  These suits come in various prints, price ranges, styles, and colors.

I'm currently loving both solid and floral prints, ruching, high-waisted bottoms and plunging necklines (that are nursing friendly).

Swoon Worthy

When I asked my husband if he would like to do anything special for Father's Day weekend, he simply replied with, "I want to be near salt water, and I want to watch the U.S. Open!"

Watching golf has zero appeal to me, but you don't have to twist my arm to get me to the beach... So that's where we are headed at this very moment.

We're only going to be spending one night away, yet it never ceases to amaze me, how much stuff is required when taking three kids to the beach.

So, even though I've been running around like crazy trying to get packed and organized for this last minute road trip, I still wanted to share with you guys the list of things that I'm currently loving/obsessing over/needing/wanting to try.

Here's what I'm swooning over at the moment...

1.  I can't get enough of strawberries and basil together, so when I came across this recipe, I instantly added it my must-try list.

2.  I picked up a few new books for our trip to the beach (not that I'll actually get to read on the beach).  This book made its way into my bag, and this one did too!

3.  If something has pom poms or tassels on it, you can pretty much bet that I'm swooning over it!

4.  Meet my latest drug store make up obsession.

5.  Rosé + sangria = my new favorite summer drink!

6.  Tunics are always a summer staple for me, and this one is perfection!

7.  Swooning over all of the things from this shop.  So good.

8.  I got a little too excited when I saw that someone decided to turn my favorite childhood cereal into an amazing dessert.

9.  A totally genius idea... I'm in love with the bracelets from this shop.

10.  Am I the only one who just dies when they take adult-like things and make the most adorable mini version of them?  These loafers are a prime example!

Have an amazing weekend!

Swoon Worthy

I have to confess, I get even more excited about weekends lately than I probably should.

This past week was a bit of a circus around here, much like the last few weeks. There were a few days where I actually felt like I had everything under control, and there were a few where I thought I was going to completely lose my mind.

So yeah, there's something about it being the weekend that just makes it seem okay to drink a little bit more coffee (and a little bit more wine), to stay in our pajamas a little while longer, and to say peace out to any form of routine!

I am however, sticking to the routine of sharing with you, all of things I've been crushing on this past week... So let's get down to it!

1.  Is there anything that says "welcome summer" more than some fun festive pineapples? I think not!

2.  Speaking of pineapple, how refreshing does this spin on one of my favorite drinks sound?

3.  We're big fans of Flora around here, so it's no surprise that we have to have this.

4.  Swooning hard over these sandals, especially at this price.

5.  This time of year I get the urge to cook everything on the grill, so this salad sounds like it fits the bill.

6.  Iong live peplum style tops!

7.  Out of all of the innovative and amazing inventions out there for babies, this one is my current favorite for sure!

8.  I'm addicted to infused waters right now. Strawberry and basil is my favorite combo at the moment, but all of these concoctions sound super refreshing.

9.  Once a Maine girl, always a Maine girl! Lobster prints will forever have my heart, especially when they come in the form of itty bitty swimsuits!

10.  Last, but not least, I am co-hosting an absolutely amazing giveaway on Instagram right now with some of my favorite fellow bloggers. If you're a mom, or soon to be one, you're definitely going to want to enter!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Ah, it's finally the weekend again.  This past week we were blessed with some beautiful weather and it felt so nice to get outside and enjoy it... We went on long walks, played in the yard, and had dinner and popsicles on the back deck.  It was pure Heaven I tell you.

As is typical here in the Northeast in the spring time, the weather fluctuates, and this weekend is going to be a bit cooler, but I just know those sunny warm days will be here to stay before we know it.

Things are still a little hectic around here, yet slowly but surely I'm beginning to get a handle on everything, even if that means that some days I just have to throw in the towel in regards to plans, and go with the flow instead.

There are so many things that I want to blog about at the moment, but my schedule just hasn't allowed for it, so I'm keeping a running list, and hope to start tackling some of these posts as it becomes possible for me to do so.

Thankfully my kids allowed me a short amount of time in front of the computer this week, and I was able to put together this Swoon Worthy post!  So, these are the things that I'm crushing on lately...

1.  You might think I was still pregnant if I told you how much I love pickles.  I stumbled across these  super convenient/healthy snack packs recently at Target, and I seriously can't get enough.

2.  Speaking of getting outside to play, our latest obsession is this form of sidewalk chalk.

3.  A friend of mine recently turned me on to this hair product line, and I'm so glad she did, because this stuff is my favorite!

4.  Super comfy maxi dresses will always be a warm weather staple in my closet... when I found this one, I had to have it!

5.  Now that gardening season is upon us, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to throw it back to one of my favorite DIY projects!

6.  My love affair with amazing small businesses that handcraft the most adorable items for babes continues... this boutique is one of our new favorites!

7.  I'm totally intrigued by this whole smoothie bowl fad.  I think I might have to try one this weekend!

8.  I'm pretty sure I've shared about these shoes before, but they are seriously my favorite for kids in the summertime.  Ella just got her first pair, and Max wears his religiously.

9.  Swooning over this pretty flowy tank (that also happens to be nursing friendly!).

10.  This blogger shares some of the most amazing recipes, but this one for iced chocolate mochas left me drooling for sure!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Mother's Day weekend to all of my mama friends, and happy weekend in general to the rest of you.

This year, above all, I made sure to make all of my requests heard... you know, mimosas/breakfast in bed, perhaps a nap at some point.  What can I say, I'm a little high maintenance. In all seriousness though, I'm just looking forward to some quality family time with my babies to celebrate the holiday, and it's always nice when daddy is home, because having an extra set of hands to help manage the chaos sounds better to me then winning the lottery right about now.

Anyhow, whatever your plans are for the weekend, I hope it's a good one.

Now let's jump right into what I'm currently crushing on...

1.  Speaking of mimosas... these ones sound delicious.

2.  I treated myself to some cute non-maternity clothes for spring recently, and this gorgeous top is one of my favorite new things.

3.  We celebrated Cinco de Mayo the other night, with these amazing fajitas... and some margaritas of course!

4.  You guys, these candles remind me of something you'd see at Anthropologie. They smell amazing, and for the price you can stock up on every yummy scent.

5.  I'm pretty much in love with anything that has a tassel on it these days, these sandals included.

6.  Swooning over teeny tiny baby boy clothes as of late... this mini chambray outfit is just too cute!

7.  If you missed it, I shared this easy and tasty recipe recently.

8.  I'm totally in love with this sweater for spring/summer.

9.  Dreaming of warm weather and dinner al fresco... these acrylic goblets are perfect for outdoor dining!

10.  I love following this lady's blog and I'm a total sucker for a pretty book, especially one that includes recipes and DIY projects!

Swoon Worthy

Here it is friends, the first Swoon Worthy post, post baby or PT (Post Theo), as I am lovingly referring to it.

If you read my previous post, you are probably aware that it is nothing short of a miracle that I am even able to post anything at the moment... My kids are all on opposite napping schedules these days (if they nap at all), and the youngest one is a party-all-night kinda guy, so the time frame I have to write is minimal lately... but miracles do happen folks, so here's what I'm swooning over at the moment...

1.  Now that I am finally able to shop some non-maternity styles, I am swooning hard over this top.

2.  Cinco De Mayo is coming right up, and my sweet friend Kristy is sharing some awesome Tex-Mex recipes on her blog.

3.  You guys, I love pretty much everything that Sherry and John (of Young House Love) do, and it just so happens that I also love adult coloring books, this one is on my must-buy list!

4.  Current obsession... this eye brow mascara.

5.  I am slowly starting to get back into the swing of exercising again... this mama is my go-to for great, quick and free, workouts that you can do at home!

7.  I adore anything that reminds me of my babies... especially if I can wear it. I can't get enough of my custom made necklace from this shop!

8.  I LOVE everything from Mrs Meyers, but I'm really loving this new stuff and this stuff too!

9.  Last night we made the best Cobb Salad for dinner (Inspired by the one I saw over on @henandco's Instagram feed)... and we topped it with this salad dressing that we just picked up the other day.  Bacon really does make everything better!

10.  My favorite season is upon us... time to bust out the floral maxi dresses!

Hoping you all have an amazing weekend... I'm just hoping for a nap!

Happy Easter weekend!  We've had a pretty busy week around here, playing the Easter Bunny, dying eggs, and trying to complete everything on our to-do list before this baby arrives!

Now it's onto enjoying a low key weekend together, celebrating all that this season has to offer.  I hope that whatever your plans may be over the next few days, that you all are too!

Here's the list of what I'm swooning over at the moment...

1.  We whipped up a batch of these no-bake monster cookie bites this past week, and I promised after I shared a photo of them on Instagram, that I would share the recipe here!

2.  I'm in love with this adorable free printable Spring Bucket List.

3.  One of my sweet and talented mama friends makes the most adorable dresses for little girls... I'm swooning over every one!

4.  This not-so-healthy, but super tasty recipe is always on my Easter dinner menu!

5.  Spring makes me think of white shoes, so naturally Ella and I needed matching mommy and mini pairs of these.

6.  I can't get enough of these new granola bars that we found at Target!

7.  I'm kind of excited that this trend is back, and hoping that my post baby bod can slip into a pair of these.

8.  I adore this lavender/pink shade of nail polish for this season?

9.  Swoon... white eyelet perfection!

10.  I am obsessed with this budget friendly line of candles, and this scent is seriously heaven!

Enjoy your weekend!

Another weekend is here, and at this point, for me, I feel like it's just a little game of crossing yet another couple of days off of the calendar.  My due date is less than three weeks away now, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't ready to be D-O-N-E... but I'm sure no one wants to listen to my incessant complaints about being HUGELY pregnant at this point, so on to much lighter and happier things!

Here's the list of things that I currently swooning over...

1.  Tassels, and pom poms, and so much color... I had to have this bag... and I'm pretty sure that through today, all accessories, clothing and shoes are buy one get one 50% off, so now is the time to buy!

2.  I love a good blueberry muffin recipe... especially when it comes along with a super cute printable recipe card.

3.  Bright colors and fun prints are my favorite, so when I came across this dress, I just knew that Ella had to have it.

4.  Businesses that give back are ALWAYS the ones that I enjoy supporting.  I am obsessed with these  super soft swaddle blankets, and for every item purchased from this company, they donate a blanket to a child in need.  XOve Baby was also kind enough to offer my readers 25% off your purchase, now through April, if you use the code: KOZY at check out!

5.  This Easter treat combines so many of my favorite things!

6.  Did you guys happen to catch this super easy DIY project that I posted the other day?

7.  This stuff is my latest beauty obsession!

8.  Well, this is the type of Easter egg that I can totally get on board with.

9.  I cannot wait for maxi dress season.  This one is so gorgeous!

10.  This recent salad recipe discovery is EVERYTHING!!!

Hoping you all have the best weekend!

I'm not sure how the weather was the past week where you are, but around here, it was pure perfection.  A total preview of the spring weather that will hopefully soon be here to stay.

We opened the windows and let the fresh air in, bought spring blooms to decorate the house with, sipped iced coffee (me, not the kids), and headed out to the playground as much as we could... it was literally about as good as it gets!

Now the weekend is here again, we're springing ahead (don't forget), and I'm trying to get as much done as possible while I have the chance... which is easier said then done these days.

I had my 36 week check up yesterday, and all is well in baby land...

So, let's jump right into the list of things I am swooning over as of late...

1.  I am so ready to ditch the boots in lieu of cute ballet flats, I'm loving this budget friendly striped pair.

2.  Chicken tenders have always been one of my favorite foods, even as an adult.  We tried this recipe the other night, and it was amazing.

3.  If you missed it, I already posted some fun Easter basket ideas for both girls, and boys, but then I saw these adorable slippers, and I kind of wish they came in my size.

4.  I will always be a candle lover (sorry Melissa), but my sister has totally turned me on to using this with little ones around, and this scent, totally has me feeling springy.

5.  I am honestly nowhere near ready to think about bathing suit season, and most likely will be rocking a one piece this summer... but, I have my eye on this one.

6.  Millennials, want to relive your childhood, whip up a batch of this incredible dip, and plop yourself in front of the TV to watch Fuller House and you'll instantly be transported back to the 90's

7.  I am a self proclaimed cookbook collector/addict, and I have been hearing nothing but good things about the recipes from this new one, consider it ordered.

8.  I love toys/things that inspire creativity in kids... how cool are these?

9.  Oh how I adore a good tunic.

10.  I am dying to take on a good DIY succulent terrarium project, and these terrariums have me swooning big time!!!

Have an amazing weekend, and don't forget to set your clocks ahead!

Happy weekend, friends.  This past week seems to have flown by and dragged all at the same time.  My oldest was on break from school, and the earlier part of the week was beyond freezing and a little snowy, so needless to say, we spent a lot of time at home in our pj's.

It finally warmed up a bit toward the end of the week, so we managed to sneak out to Target and Trader Joe's to stock up on some of our favorite things/scope out spring collections.

It's hard not to have spring on my mind at the moment, while inching closer and closer to my due date with baby number three, but we're trying our best to take things one day at a time around here.

Here's what I'm swooning over lately...

1.  I swear if I didn't have to work, and didn't have children or a house to take care of, I could watch Fixer Upper all day and night. I love this list of farmhouse finds from Target. They just scream Fixer Upper style.

2.  I've confessed my love for the Nose Frida several times on this blog, but have you guys seen their newest product?  Genius!

3.  I know a certain sprinkles obsessed little boy (and his mom), who would think this is a pretty amazing idea.

4.  With Easter being at the end of March this year, I'm thinking it may be time to decorate for spring pretty soon.  Looking for some inspiration?  This was one of my favorite DIY projects to date!

5.  Dying over how cute these little ballet flats are!

6.  I'll be making these this weekend... I like to add a little bit of shredded chicken to mine!

7.  These old school letter boards have been popping up all over my Instagram feed, and I kind of love them.

8.  I'm a total sucker for a drug store beauty buy... some things are worth splurging on, and others not so much.  My latest inexpensive obsession is this stuff.

9.  I was totally swooning over this gorgeous spring garland last year, and never got my hands on one... so happy to see they brought it back again this spring!

10.  Finding cute dresses that you can also nurse in, has always been a struggle for me... I adore this one, and it pulls double duty as both a maternity dress and a nursing dress, post pregnancy!

Have an amazing weekend!

Happy Hallo-weekend! We're gearing up for a crazy Saturday night around here, well about as crazy as we get these days.

Apparently our new neighborhood is the "it" place to trick or treat around these parts, so here's to hoping I bought enough candy!!!

Here's the random list of things that I am swooning over from this past week...

1.  I am a total sucker for seasonal scented cleaning products!

2.  I didn't think it was possible for me to love duck boots any more than I already do... and then these happened.

3.  Um yeah, so I discovered this new biscotti at Target this past week, and it's safe to say it has now become a routine part of my morning coffee ritual. (No link yet, but here is a photo... look for it in stores, you won't be disappointed!).  When you dip one of these into your hot coffee and the caramel melts a bit... it's AH-mazing!

4.  These videos are hilarious every year!  I can't wait to see the new clips after this weekend!

5.  So, seeing as I am 4.5 months pregnant, I obviously can't indulge in any adult beverages at the moment... but the pink starburst lover in me is dying for some of you to try this martini and let me know how it is!!!

6.  Budget friendly ballet flats are totally my jam right now.

7.  Do you guys follow this Facebook page yet?  I can't get enough of the recipes/videos.

8.  An old favorite when it comes to sweaters, in some great colors for fall.

9.  Definitely making this soup this weekend.

10.  Naturally, I had to share this, because as soon as Halloween is over, it's time to get  my Christmas game-face on (yes, I know we still have Thanksgiving to celebrate, but I prefer to stretch out the holiday season as long as possible!!!)

I hope you all have a happy and safe Halloween weekend.  Don't forget to set your clocks back!

Summer Favorites

It's been awhile since I've posted a "inspiration board", and even though I'm completely aware that my summer mom uniform is hardly inspirational, I thought I'd share a few of the pieces that I literally can't live without this summer.

They are casual pieces... mostly for comfort... easy to slip on and run out the door while wrangling two kids, and great for everyday wear... but they are my go-to favorite pieces this season.

Can't Live Without It

I'm so excited for my first "can't live without it" post!
I'm linking up with some fabulous bloggers, (Stephanie, Laura, and Caitlyn), to rave about one of my favorite items at the moment... the thing I feel that I simply cannot live without right now!
Once you're done reading here, hop on over and check out just what it is these lovely ladies can't live without!

For my first post, it's all about Old Navy denim, specifically their Boyfriend jeans (which I previously raved about here, and I am currently wearing as I type this post)... but honestly, I love all of their jeans!

Their inexpensive, comfortable, and they are available in a ton of color options and styles.
My go-to style of choice these days is definitely the Boyfriend style... Likely because they are a step up from my usual leggings/yoga pants, but they're equally as comfy.  Totally a staple "mom uniform" item.

Thanks to their low price point, and the fact that Old Navy is almost always having a sale of some sort, I never feel guilty about the fact that I keep adding to my collection.
A girl can never really have too many pairs of jeans!

Cheers to the weekend friends... And remember to check back tomorrow for this week's Swoon Worthy post, for more of what I'm loving at the moment!

Mommy + Me Chambray

I am seriously obsessed with everything chambray and have been for quite awhile now.  I love the color of it and how it goes with everything.  There are so many great chambray options out there, for moms and little ones.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Mommy + Little Neons

So I'm kind of obsessed with the fact that neons are trendy again this summer.  It brings me straight back to my childhood. The 90's, a time where Hypercolor shirts and friendship bracelets of every color were all the rage.  Really though, these super bright colors just make me oh so happy.  Here are a few of my favorite neon finds for mommies and littles.

I recently purchased the flamingo hat (with matching diaper cover) and the pink terry hoodie for Ella, and Max man has been rocking the neon green polo. I love them in these colors... it's the cutest.
